32nd Secondary School Band NCO POP

There was band practice today. None of the conductors came, so Edward (ex-CM) took us. We did some warm up first and then set off for sectionals. At 11pm, we went back to the band room for combined. Miss Ong wanted to hear how we fair so far. So she took the Flight of the Falcon score, and Edward conducted us for Flight of the Falcon once through. In the end, we played badly, due to the *ahem bad conducting. Well, he has never seen the score before. The band scolded by Miss Ong.

After fall out, some of us stayed back to help with the librarian work. Later, I went with Joshua and Gerald to some photo shop to photocopy some scores. Then, Joshua, Rainald, Melvin, and Jeremy came over to my house. They played DotA there, as usual. At 4.00, they went back.

And at 4.30pm, I met with Joshua and Alif at the MRT station. We headed to Newton station. First time seeing so many band people all in one place, haha. Saw many familiar faces there too. Waited very long for the bus. Then when 171 came, like everybody pushed here and there, eager to get aboard. In the end, some people missed the bus cause it was too packed. We reached CCAB at 6.05pm.

It started off with the Arrival of the GOH, Mrs Tan Ching Yee, then the fanfare, followed by the General Salute, Inspection of parade, presentation of badges, march past, guest performances, band majors performance, drum majors performance, and lastly, the reception.

Hopefully, next year i will not be just sitting at the stands!
