hectic day
went to hougang pri today morning to collect the edusave scholarship thingy.$500 leh,how can not go! =D after that went home to sleep awhile coz later going singapore poly concert.bathed,then went to hougang mrt station to meet alif,dickson,gavilan,edward,joseph and wee ong.shermann got on at potong pasir station.went city hall,then go breadtalk to buy bread to eat.then went to esplanade ticket booth there.bought 9 tickets for musical delights xxix(29,i think).then walked around until 4.40 then went in the concert hall.anyway the repertoire is colonel bogey,moorside suite(3 movements),concertino for tuba and band,wizard of oz,then 20 minutes intermission,ave verum corpus(joined by chorale),thank you for the music(also with chorale),ride,air and gigue(a song composed by one of sp band's own members,had cor anglais/english horn and trumpet solo)then Fantillusion,and the encore was 'chinese new year encore'.it composes of several cny songs.wahaha,i recorded or the songs secretly =P.the quality was really poor though.after the concert,we took train around then finally back to hougang.the rest wanted to go to the mcdonalds near sch,but me,gerald and alif went to hougang mall's kfc to eat cause the mac near sch is too far from our house.thats about it.sorry i didn't get to take any pictures.

going to a rich guy's house
its a long time since my last post,i don't think anyone visits anymore,but i'll still blog.
yay.hong zheng and kenneth joined band.they play the trumpet and bassoon respectively.
today went to kenneth 's house.we(me,gerald,alif,wee ong and hongzheng. met up at school busstop and his mother fetched us there.oh and we brought our instruments too.the plan was to teach the two to play their instruments,so they can get in the main band quickly and not be stuck with the new batch of sec 1s.btw,his house is a terrace house,i used to live in a terrace house too,but we moved.anyway,once we reached,we went up to ko's room.his bassoon was in the corner,apparently untouched for a few days.we set up our instruments and played abit.then we went up to the 3rd floor(parents room,i think and the balcony).we went outside to practise for awhile.then we went to play soccer,the field was close so we walked around looking for a mama shop,i think we walked around for about 2 miles aimlessly,then kenneth's mother came around(in a car),and gave us some bottled drinks.so we found a field and played soccer.(im getting bored so i'll make this fast) walked back,played ps2,went up again to balcony to practise.oh here are some pictures :

a nostalgic day
ytd was cca day.sort of a day for where all the ccas will set up stalls and get sec 1s to join that club.
we practised in the band room from 8 to 10.then we went down to the study area.that was the place we were allocated.there were some ex-band members who came down to help.my ex section leader also came down to play.first we played american elegy,then abba gold and finally concerto dynamico.after that there was a special performance by yi ming,our drum major.after that,we were to go around and drag the sec 1s and make them sign up.those who did so got free candy,lol!
after we were dismissed.a few of us went to mcdonalds to eat.i tried a chicken fan-tastic meal and it was a waste of my money T.T...we stayed there and chatted until 4+.thats over 3 hours long,im surprised no one chased us out yet.walked home after that.

welcoming the new batch of sec 1s
today was the welcome ceremony for the sec 1s,it took place at 7pm.as usual went to school in the morning.classes ended at 1pm.went to the band room to enjoy the air-con x'D we practised all the way from 2 to 5.oh yah,we were to play a fanfare for the welcome ceremony.the song was procession to a new age.5 pm to 6 was dinner.went to mcdonalds with louis,ryan and some saxaphone guy whose name i forgot.went back to school,changed.and went up to the hall to wait.it started,played the fanfare first while the sec 1s 'marched in'.after that we played the school song -.-...how can they except me to play when i haven't even seen the score yet.after it was over,went home.ok,i'm really tired now,so i'll post more tomorrow.tmr still have to go back for cca orientation.bye

back to school
its the first day of school.i saw many new faces,namely the sec 1s.all of them are kinda short.anyway,my new class was..well,quite humourous :) oh and there were no studies at all today,yay!
