Today....quite a tiring day,many things happened,but you may find them all too boring.First lesson was P.E.we had a practise 2.4km run.got 2nd,my timing was 11 mins 52 secs i think.Wooh my timing decreased from last year,13mins 4 secs.heh.
After that was chinese.Our teacher didn't come for the second consecutive time so we had to do some worksheets.after that we had recess,then geograpgy.We got back our mid-year paper.and i got an A1,but quite a lousy one -.-;;
Then the subject i dread...math!!We had a math test for chp. 5 & 6.i know i failed,because i left out so many questions lor!
And since there was oral exam today,science lesson was cancelled so we were all dismissed early.Went to the band room and lazed around,until Jeremy came and told me that he went to see our examiner and she told him that index 1-20 were to take the oral exam that day.It was actually 1-16,and i'm 18,so mine was suppose to be the next day.But Terence,Jeremy and me went in the room anyway.When she was taking attendance,Terence told the teacher we weren't supposed to be there,but the teacher said since there were some other people missing,we had to fill their place...damn unreasonable la.She made me 1 hour late for band -.-;;.The exam was quite easy lah,i was always good at english,so i'm not really worried.After band went to mcdonalds to eat dinner then went home.Oh and we got most of our montfiesta 9 song's scores today.
There's no homework today so it leaves me plenty of time.That's why i could blog.

All ccas will cease on 9/4/06.and will resume again on 15/5/06.We have only about a month left until the concert on June 16.I myself must work harder,cause there are quite a few songs i can't play properly yet.Despite bringing home my french horn everyday,i only practise about 1 or 2 hours a week.its because i'm so busy nowadays with schoolwork and stuff.Last time i used to practise much more everyday,bleah.

well,i've decided to change back to my old skin!
anyway,i think our band has deproved a lot since last time.compared to other school bands,we might be even considered lousy.our intonation and sound is really bad.also,i think some sec1s join band only for the drums.we should not take down the drums next open house,bleah.
here are my opinions on what we should do :
we could change our band to a symphonic band,so we won't have to spend a few hours on foot drill every week.or just lessen the length of foot drill.
hold some performances in the school hall maybe during assembly,to recruit more sec 1s,since our current recruitment is quite low.
change our band uniform :D maybe just a long sleeved collar shirt with a blazer over with black pants. (cause i think our band uniform is kinda ugly.this are just my personal thoughts,heh :P)

it was the annual sports meet 2006 today.it was held at serangoon stadium,quite far from the usual hougang stadium >__>.woke up bright and early at 6.15am.well...not really,its actually quite dark.we had to be at the stadium by 7.30.an hour earlier school days.sheesh,what were they thinking. -.-;;

it seems this march holiday will be very busy.sighhhhhh i have so much homework too! >_____>

went to plaza sing. with gerald yesterday.went to comics connection and got my brother a $47.95 present.yah i know i'm generous =D.
then we went to yamaha to get a look at some stuff.i bought a music stand while gerald bought a clarinet cleaning swab.
anyway,recently bought a lot of stuff for band :

fhorn instrument care kit(rotary oil,valve oil,polishing cloth,slide grease,mouthpiece brush,flexible cleaning brush and a care booklet - $35.00
hand guard(leather i think,but then it should be more expensive) - $24.00

theres a philharmonic winds concert later anyway.its free admission at esplanade.3pm
