You have been invited

Woke up at 10am today and chatted with Joshua and Melvin on MSN. Aaron asked us to go with him to VivoCity's Best Denki to check out the electric drum by yamaha. Mrs Tan wanted him to go see whether we should get it for the band. Wth lah, use electronic drum in a band, what will people think? In the end, Aaron couldn't go, cause he sick.

But we still went to check it out. Left for Joshua's house with Gerald at 12.15pm. Melvin and was already there when we reached. We went to KFC to meet Joshua's maid. She was buying KFC for him. So Melvin went to Hougang Plaza to eat while the rest of us ate at KFC. Bought Mocha Milkshake from McDonalds, hoho.

Then we left for Harbourfront by train. Went to Best Denki when we reached. Saw the drum, and i don't think we should buy it -.-''. Spent like 1 hour there cause we were playing games at the Game Console area, haha.

Then we decided to watch DOA. We all chipped in for Joshua, cause he 'had no money'. Then we went to Carl's Jr. Melvin and Gerald bought drinks, and we sat there for like 15 minutes. Then something caught our eye. From out of the window, we could see a 'guy' doing pull-ups on a bar like 5 metres off the ground. Took a closer look and realised it was just a doll. Still can't figure out how it works, lol. Went out and climbed some sculpture thingys. Then we went up to the roof. Joshua and I waded around in the water, zzz.

At 5.20, we went back to the cinema. Bought popcorn and drinks. I went to 7-11 to buy potato chips. Anyway, the movie rocks la, lots of action, woohoo.

Joshua and I got on the train first while the rest went to the toilet, and we lived happily ever after, hah.

----------

Bought a new PC yesterday. Now i have 2 computers and 1 laptop at my disposal, haha. Giving the old com to my dad and maybe the laptop to my older brother. Now transferring all the data over the the new com. Damn long la, bleah.

Just like any other saturday, i woke up at 7.15am. Got ready and went to the school bus-stop to meet Joshua. I called Aaron, but his mother said he was sick, zzz. And Alif was busy with who knows what. Took the bus to Ang Mo Kio, train to Yishun, and bus again to S'wang CC.

Many people didn't turn up today, geez. Had sectionals and combined brass before lunch. After lunch, we spent the rest of the day doing the first movement of POC. Mr. Desmond Ng came and conducted us at like 5pm. Quite a cool guy.

Went home while Gerald and Joshua went to Causeway Point to watch Sinking of Japan with Gladys.

So, this year's band camp will be at Bintan. Cool, huh? Taken a look at the site and it's really nice there. Too bad we have to pay $200, haha. There'll be activities like Flying Fox, War Game, and more team building activites. All meals are buffet, Woohoo!

Life goes on

So yesterday, the day of the Minister's visit.

I left class with Terence, Clarence, and Wee Ong after morning assembly, at 8.45am. Went to the band room, changed to band uniform, and set up instrument. We warmed up til 9.15. Then we went down to the foyer.

Played Concerto Damore a few times while waiting for the arrival. Then at 10+, a car came in. Then the VP rushed us to start. Played halfway, and then he realised it was a false alarm, lol -.-''. Turns out it is a similar colour and model. The fanfare was quite good anyway.

Went back to band room and hang around there until 11.45, when we when for our recess. Ate until 12.30, then we went back to class. The class was watching Oliver Twist when we came back. Then when the movie ended, report books! So, i was posted to 3E2. Better than i expected, i guess. Gerald was also posted there, haha.

After school, Joshua came to my house. We left shortly after cause we were going to CWP to watch The Prestige before going SSW sectionals. Last minute plan lor, Joshua' fault, haha. The movie started at 4.50 and ended at 7, so long la. In the end, we reached the CC at 7.40.. zzz.

After sectionals, Tian Ze, Yuko, Gladys, Gerald, Joshua, Alif and I went to McDonalds at Northpoint to eat. We were joined by another SWO player, Shu Yuan, later. Reached home at 12.10.

Happy Early 14th Birthday Joshua!

Woke up at 10am today. At 12pm, Gerald and I went to Joshua's house before going down to meet Shirly and Gladys at the bus-stop. Then we took bus 88 to Pasir Ris interchange. We walked to Downtown East.

We ate at some shop called Yummy Veggies. I ordered the Vegetarian Chicken Rice while the rest ate Fried Rice. Aaron had to switch with me cause the Fried Rice contained eggs and prawns. After eating, we went to Escape.

Joshua paid $10 for each of us for the ticket, yay. We first entered the Haunted house. Aaron went to hug one of the 'ghosts', hah, and was pushed away -.-. The girls screamed all the way, lol. Then we went to queue for the Viking Ship thingy. Half-way, it rained, zzz. We went into the sheltered area and look at people play the games. When we thought the rain stopped, we went back to queue. It started raining on and off, lol. Finally it stopped, then we went on the ride. We then rided the rest of the rides. At around 4.15, Ray came but didn't come in. He wanted Joshua to pay for him, but Joshua refused. He claimed that we would be coming out soon, so Ray waited.
We went to Burger King to eat. About an hour later then we went out.

Met up with Ray and took the train to Tampines. Bought the 7pm ticket to DeathNote and walked around until then. The movie was nice lor. The sequel will be coming out in december, hooray. After the show, we took bus 72 back to Hougang while the girls took 161(not sure) back.

2E1'06 Sculpture Walk

Hi there.

Our class could wear Alternative Tee today cause of the excursion, haha.

On the bus, we were introduced to our two tour guides, Ms Susan and Ms something-lyn -.-'. Then we were given a short introduction and some ground rules about the tour. The bus stopped next to VCH. We were split into 2 groups and then alighted. I was in Group 2, so our tour guide was Ms Susan, woo.

So we proceeded around, looking and discovering things in the art pieces. At 10.30, we were given a 20 minutes break in McDonalds. The queue was long, so we spent like 10 minutes ordering our food. Then before we were done, the guide say time was up... Even Mrs Lim didn't get to finish her food, so we just brought them along for the rest of the tour.

At like 12.30, we went to Burger King to get drinks and to wait for the other group. Apparently, they had not yet finished their tour. Anyway, we threw ice around and stepped on them. Got scolded by the teachers, lol. Then at 12.50 we went up the bus and went back to school.

Played soccer with some classmates while waiting for band to start. We had sectionals for the first part because Mr Sukit was not there yet. Damn boring la, cause the songs very easy. Then during combined, we did Flight of the Falcon, Rich Girl, and Concerto Damore.

Argh, my cough is getting worst, zzz.
