So this friday is racial harmony day. And as usual we're having sort of a cultural festival in school. Each class will be expected to set up a store. Can be drinks, games, food etc..
And this year our class will be doing a food stall. We'll be selling chinese sausages, potato wedges/fries, sphagetti, soya bean drink, samosas and some indian tidbits. Idiots in my class voted me for being in charge of the logistics, zzz! Alfred and Clarence are under me, haha. It's not that bad really, i don't have to take care of the stall during the 1st and 2nd shift or do cleaning duty. I have the entire 4 hours to spend my coupons. I expect i'm the only one in the class with this privilege!
So today, Wee ong, Gerald, Jeremy, Melvin and i went to Hougang Mall to get the stuff. How kind of them to help me do this. Actually, they just wanted to go to my house for soccer. Clarence went to compass point for his own business and alfred had badminton training. Guess i'm the only one doing the work. This is what i was supposed to get.
- 100 plates
- 100 forks
- 200 cups
- 150 satay sticks
- A pack of plastic bags - Ice
- Plastic table cloth (disposable)
- 2 Aluminium trays - Magazine (for wrapping the indian tidbits in)
I guess all that's left is the ice and the magazine. Ice can be gotten from the canteen and the magazine were supposed to be contributed by the class. So i guess it's all over, wooh.
Jeremy and Melvin wasted money lor. They got the plates at 15 plates for $1.05, damn expensive la. We just asked them to go up to the $1 shop and check out the prices, then in the end they bought them without asking us. I only expected to spend the most $20. Then the total cost is like $25.
Nevermind, i can't wait for the event. I'll be sure to take lots of pictures! Posted at 6:00 PM
